Default opinions on machine suppliers

Jake Loveday wrote:

Hi all. The company I work for is considering buying some 3 axis CNC milling
machines with tables about 5 long. What are your opinions on the HAAS
company product versus OKUMA?

If you ask this question over in alt.machines.cnc you will get lots of
opinions. Very possibly more than you want. To reduce the non-essential
comments, filter out any replies from Cliff. The signal/noise ratio will
improve positively.
