NASA announced that they measured something like .5 degree in 50 years.
What so many don't understand is the Sun is hotter than normal, been odd and working strangely. Large black spots and blowing out large plumbs of plasma. We have been lucky not getting a direct blow. It would be a hot day that is for sure. Got Mars and is trying to get what is about. Mars lost their polar caps. Today there was an article that a visitor flying by at great speeds ripped some of the atmosphere of Mars off and change the magnetism of he whole planet. And we have a similar visitor flying by us, but our magnetic is core based and Mars is atmosphere based. Keep your fingers crossed. The object is getting bigger every time they measure it. And it is coming. The result of that will be like small-town politics. How well has it worked in Iraq?? New Hampshire comes close with our huge legislature, but many of the representatives have already learned to work together while serving on volunteer town boards. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Ha..._General_Court "The House of Representatives consists of 400 members coming from 204 districts across the state created from divisions of the state's counties, each making up about 3,000 residents for every one legislator. If the same level of representation were present in Congress, the U.S. House of Representatives would have approximately 99,000 members, according to current population estimates." The reform-minded King of France did that in 1789 by creating the National Assembly, and instead of addressing the peoples' complaints he inadvertently set off the Revolution. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-d...nch_Revolution) If the link fails add the missing ')'. --G. No Gorbal warming...in...58 yrs....

Look how well that has worked in Iran, earlier in Iraq, and several elsewheres... First, we have to defund politics. All donations go into a pot for each position for each election, and each eligible party gets an equal share. (No more bought and sold politicians, please) If all funds aren't used, they stay in the pot for that position for the next election. (If we draw the right people, that -will- happen, but it sure couldn't happen in today's corruption.) This would self-limit donations, don't you think? What's the average pay of Americans? That's the salary for all new politicians. Single term only, and that goes for pages and assistants, too. Far too much in D.C. is actually run by these little guys who are as corrupt as (or more than) their bosses. "The House of Representatives consists of 400 members coming from 204 districts across the state created from divisions of the state's counties, each making up about 3,000 residents for every one legislator. If the same level of representation were present in Congress, the U.S. House of Representatives would have approximately 99,000 members, according to current population estimates." Eek! Did Stephen King send you? A term limit of eight years, total for any and all offices combined. Lifetime term limit, not just contiguous. And make it 4. I still think just grabbing anyone off the street or out of an office/home would work better than what we have now. -- Never trouble another for what you can do for yourself. -- Thomas Jefferson |
