Default Halcyon 715a Transmision line monitor?

I found one of these today while installing a garage door opener for a
widow (whose husband was a barber). She was tickled to give it away.

Anyone have a clue what this scope is used for? Couldnt find it on
the net nor ebay

Halcyon 715a Transmission Line Monitor

No idea if it even works..havent cleaned off the dust, and plugged it
in yet.

Anyone need it?

It might analyze and display the signalling on modern phone lines.

Communication monitor - watches for bad connections and reflections.

No telling if it is wire or coax or fiber. All have their test modes.
