Really? 1/4 of the households in the US have had at least one
suicide? You do know that half the households have one or more
firearm in it..right?

That would make 25% of every household..right?

Now given that there are over 150 MILLION gunowners (closer to 180
million) who own about 400 MILLION firearms...you are saying that
15,000 is the same as 75 MILLION? Is that your claim? Really?

Well, the anti-gun people will argue that the statement "guns don't
kill people, people kill people" is totally and irrefutably wrong,
wrong, wrong! So I assume that if you don't either chain a gun to the
wall or lock it up in a sort of jail cell, that they will suddenly
leap out into the middle of the room and just start blasting away with
no warning.

That's truly a total misreading of that statistic, plus a complete
suspension from reality.

Real meaning of your cite: More than half of all gun fatalities are
suicides.
