Default Signal Tronsformer 115v pri 20 vct sec . 1.5 omp

I went by the scrap yard today. Not much interesting to buy. I did pick up 15 transformers for $6. Thought that someone here might be able to use some. The part no is 241-6-2849. They are used in a Invacare medical unit so odd part no. THey show up on Ebay at what I consider high prices. Bummer They are just a little big for a small flat rate box. If there is a lot of interest I can probably get more. If there is no interest , they go to a high school.

Did you check with Signal? I was in the surplus business for 25 years.
Once bought a pallet of
Singnals with a non standard PN. Checked with Sig. 90 volt primarys.
Guess where they went.

I picked up some of the medical units some months back and checked on signal's website. At the time they had this model on their website. So I know it is a 115 volt primary, 30va, and 20 vct secondary.

Well, two in series would work just fine on line voltage, and gives
you the option of secondaries in series for higher voltage, or
in parallel for higher current. That'd be a pretty good school
donation, too (because it encourages the students to THINK).

Not in this day of extreme liability.

People are not expected to think.

Nanny culture.
