In spite of what Faux News reports the U. S. is no where
near such an inflection point. Of course this could
abruptly change with a "perfect storm" combination of events
such as a severe stock market break, a Greek default
starting the dominos falling, massive municipal bond
default, and a continuing southwest/California drought,
especially if we the people allow our government to become
involved in another Mideast and/or Ukraine [open-ended] war.

IMNSHO the key is avoiding a "cult of personality" political
party, the formulation of a cohesive, consistent,
continually updated data driven platform or business plan,
and the creation of a movement [not party] to implement this
plan, which will require massive mounts of education, and
continual community outreach such as GED and ESL
instruction, which happens to have considerable political
content.

A lot of work? You bet, and it may take a decade, but when
the crisis occurs, it is the prepared and prepared that will
lead the changes. Outrage without organization,
information, and unity accomplishes little. Compare and
contrast the lack of lasting effect of "Occupy Wall Street"

government in Spain
