Default Ford EcoBoost Engines Can Suddenly Fail Creating Dangerous Conditions

http://www.consumerclasslawyersblog....ford-ecoboost/

"Consumers who own or lease vehicles equipped with Ford's EcoBoost engine have reported hundreds of reliability and safety issues. Many such complaints relate to the EcoBoost engine suddenly and unexpectedly shuddering, shaking violently, stumbling, misfiring, rapidly losing power, or going into limp mode while a driver is operating the vehicle. Some consumers report sudden shutdown of their EcoBoost vehicle or total loss of power. This often happens when vehicles are operating at highway speeds or are otherwise accelerating and is often accompanied by loss of control of the vehicle, loss of power steering, loss of airbag functionality, and loss of use of locks and windows. This creates a dangerous condition for the driver, their family and other passengers, and other drivers on the road.

These dangerous conditions are likely caused by a defect in Ford's design of the EcoBoost engines. Despite the dangerous vehicles often being under warranty when the defect manifests, consumers have reported that Ford refuses to repair the EcoBoost engine and make these vehicles safe to operate. Often, when consumers who suffer from these dangerous conditions take their vehicles to Ford-authorized dealerships, the dealerships tell the consumers that they cannot re-create the problem and thus cannot repair the EcoBoost engines. In some instances, if consumers complain enough, the Ford dealerships make an inadequate repair (replacing the MaP sensor), which does not actually fix the defect. Many consumers report that their EcoBoost engines have shutdown or stalled multiple times--even after the Ford dealerships claim to have made repairs. Yet, Ford continues to deny a problem exists or provide an adequate repair for the EcoBoost engines."

Water accumulates there for the same reason it does in your air

Jonnie Bonkers is quoting an ambulance-chasing law firm that was
trolling for customers. In fact, the NHTSA investigated and found out
that it was being cooked up, and there was no need for a recall.

That was a couple of years ago. Ford has since fixed the problem in
production:

Also, note that the new F-150, the aluminum-bodied one, got a 5-star
safety rating from NHTSA:

Earlier, steel-bodied F-150s never got a 5-star rating. It's in the
engineering, not in the material.

Strongly suggest you watch this video from a repair tech for some of the many issues Ford is having with their EcoBoost motor:

On Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 11:28:57 AM UTC-7, slow eddy lied:

Snipped the usual bull**** and lies from slow eddy

The fact is that Ford is having lots of problems with their EcoBoost engines.

slow eddy is a babbling idiot who often gets it wrong because he considers himself to be an expert in areas where he clearly has no clues.

I have been watching NASCAR races on and off. Haven't noticed any problems.
Not even sure if they use production based engines.
The pickup and sedans have not prompted LARGE front page headlines of death and destruction.
I want one in my motorcycle.

NASCAR sprint cup motors are V8 pushrod motors:
