1985 Catalina Capri 22 "STAMPEDE" extensive racing history, likely
some of you will recognize this boat as it was actively raced at one
time. Taller double spreader rig, Nelson Marek designed custom lead
keel cast out of the country and fitted here, adjustable mast step, LP
bottom, full racing sail inventory (I believe there are 12 in total)
excellent condition road trailer take it anywhere. There was a lot of
time and money put into making this boat win races, in the
neighborhood of 70K. Have all records and paperwork. Photo below taken
from Coast Guard helicopter right before winning Ensenada race on
radar at 16 knots. This boat will make an excellent platform for
someone who wants a cheap and extremely competitive racing boat that
they can tow anywhere. Will need some TLC from sitting but its all
there, sails have been stored indoors.
