Report: Federal Government Issued Nearly 5.5 Million Work Permits to
Foreign
Nationals Since 2009

More than 5.46 million foreign nationals received work permits from the
federal government since 2009, according to a new report from the
Center for
Immigration Studies.

You know, most Americans would prefer to give
jobs to legal, "Born in the USA" types. Two
thoughts come to mind, first is that the admin
isn't governing on the will of the people.

Second, wonder why the employers hire the illegals?
Probably a lot less expensive than hiring highly
regulated US workers.

Why comply with all the regs and red tape when the
illegals work without all the paper work?

Easy to say. The company controls the legal work permit
and all paperwork. The company has a semi-slave.
Work hard and paperwork gets renewed. Can't be fired.
But can be dumped out of the country.

I know since the department I was assigned to - had two
of these. A Korean and a Chinese. The latter a lady that
did well with a little guidance and got with it.

She and her husband and child (US) had Daddy and Mom who
would bring a suit case full of money for the baby. The
Daddy was the 'Man' in charge of a large complex City.
He was a big party member. Come for a week and return.
They made every other month trips for a year and lo and behold,
the kids were able to buy a house with cash. Lucky baby...
