You'd have to ask a psychologist, but a singular obsession like Jon's
obsession with CAD/CAM looks like a work interest that's turned into
some kind of lifeline. It's one thing to define yourself by your work
interest; it's possibly neurotic to judge your own worth by it; but
it's pathological to use it as the basis for judging the worth of
others who have no interest in it.

Right. But he's a case for professionals. We can see some general
outlines of his condition, but it's not strictly textbook. Bipolar
disorder, if that's what it is, doesn't normally turn into such
obnoxious behavior. There's a lot of compensation going on and only a
professional could identify all of it.

Bull**** and lies snipped

When you're a world class loser like slow edddy or any of Mark Wieber's clique of idiots all you can do is live in fantasy land and pretend that reality doesn't exist.

It deeply troubles a loser like slow eddy that my skills endorsements come from well know CADCAM industry experts and those that have started companies like SolidWorks, SpaceClaim, etc. In addition, my LinkedIn group is filled with some of the best CADCAM programmers in the world.

No one of note has ever interviewed losers like slow eddy, Tom Gardner or David R. Bitch. The reason is they have nothing to say and no one's interested in their opinions.

slow eddy is a washed up loser in and industry that modern business social media is quickly making obsolete. Adverting based machining magazines, forums, blogs are a scam and that scam is almost over.

Is that the only way to know what fruit it will bear or are there other
reasons? How are new varieties created?

The varities we all know have a HUGE number of recessive genes. So
when you plant the seed, the fruit is not at all like the parent. By
grafting you get a genetically identical plant.

For breeding, seeds are planted. Even with careful crosses between
selected parents it take about 10,000 seedlings to select a new
variety.

Did the trees grown from seed mirror the parent tree? Is the fruit edible?

The odds are more than 10,000 to 1 against it. However, the best
tasting apple I know, Ginger Gold, is a chance seedling. Red Delicious
is another. The U of M claimed for years that HoneyCrisp was a cross
of Macoun and HoneyGold. Us growers knew this was about as likely as a
blond haired blue eyed child being born to black and Asian parents.
Turns out Honeycrisp is another chance seedling.

The plum trees are the same as the parents and
when the blossoms don't get killed by frost they
bear edible fruit. Makes great plum jam. From
what I have seen of apple trees grown from seed
some are good to eat and some aren't.

I'm judged by my peers, many of whom I've programmed and machined parts for..

Neither of you two losers could get a job in the kind of high-tech machining job shops I've worked for and continue to do work for. I've spent well over two decades and built up a worldwide network of connections that can be seen by the numerous endorsements for my skill set. Many of those LinkedIn connections are also members of my LinkedIn group. They know exactly who I am despite slow eddy's pathetic attempts to pretend they don't. :)

You two idiots are both life long losers with no clues. Neither of you have any place in a modern, CNC machining job shop.

If you really think I give a **** what worthless losers like you and slow eddy think your dumber than I thought.

We weren't talking to you, Jon, and we don't care what you think.

the usual slow eddy bull**** and lies snipped

How many people joined my LinkedIn group today, slow eddy?

How many members does my LinkedIn group now have, slow eddy?

The only thing slow eddy is sure of is that he's a loser who could never cut it working in a modern, CNC, machining job shop.

You have a problem with Lake Erie sheepshead? How'd you like to pull
one of THESE over the side? We catch them when we're fishing for
summer flounder. Look at that mouth, and think of Jon:

Keep your gaff sharp.

But, they are delicious, poor man's lobster!

I concur, he's gotten even more pathetic. Time for him to change his

Happy to provide you with proof that you're a fat, drunken, slob with no clues:

No skill endorsements for design, machining, CADCAM, etc.

snipped the drunken ramblings of a fat loser with no clues and hopefully no kids

Time for you to lose some weight and start attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

It's also time to close the doors at Ohio Brush. No one in SoCal has ever heard of Ohio Brush. Called the biggest hardware store here. They never heard of Ohio Bush:

Made several calls to LA based hardware stores. They never heard of Ohio Bush either.

How soon before you burn Ohio Bush to the ground for the insurance money?

Any San Marzano? (Italian sauce tomatoes) I used to do fairly
well with them, in SW Ohio.

I don't know exactly, we have 2 Roma or plumb or something with lots
of flesh and small amount of seeds and goo.

Roma don't have the flavor of a San Marzano. I had to get seeds from
guy in texas, on Ebay. I couldn't find them anywhere else. They used
to be available from dozens of places. It takes good soil to grow
them.

Probably the same guy I got mine from . I'm looking forward to next year's
tomato crop , I've learned a lot in the last two years . I also found the
Roma's to be a little light on flavor in stuff like salsa , I was hoping for
a real tomato-y taste and was disappointed .

We used to grow the San Marzano tomatoes, the beans and buy locally
grown beef and have it processed into ground beef for Chili. People
thought we were nuts to grind the best cuts, till they tasted the
burgers or chili we made at home.

I laugh at produce dealrs who try to tell me the '"Roma is just as
good." I tell them that they know nothing about tomatoes, and walk
away.
