If anyone is interested in OLD methods of boilermaking, these books may answer some of your questions: "The Theoretical and Practical Boiler-Maker" by Samuel Nicholls (British), Published in New York in 1882, 273 pages. "The Boilermaker's Assistant" by John Courtney, Weale's Scientific & Technical Series, London, 1908, 108 pages, plus about 30 pages of catalog descriptions of other books in series. Both books are small, about 6" x 9", leather bound, and VERY much used, but still completely legible. Belong to an aquaintance; taking offers for him. Please e-mail: Thanx, Richard Hoffman |
