Ebay books...rather interesting

I noted that they have quite a number of other books available that also look worth while. Anyone have any experience with this seller and with this particular data collection? The Foxfire books are excellent. IIRC they started as a big class project. The students were to go talk to the elders in their community and record the methods they used in daily living - how to make soap, how to bear hunt, even a detailed section about making guns. The result is a set of 6 or 8 well-written, illustrated how-to books on subsistence living. Buy the whole set, they are an excellent read. |
