I do not disagree with that article, but I would like to point out that everything gets more complicated the closer you look.
a) That summary did not explain conflict of interest the AAA ratings by Moody's, S&P, and Fitch.
b) Nor does it connect the socialistic institutions started by FDR 80 years earlier.
