The "War on Drugs" was initiated by Richard Nixon in 1971. The DEA was
formed in July, 1973 -- by Nixon.

In 1982, George H.W. Bush pushed for the use of the CIA and the US
military in drug interdiction. The Office of National Drug Control
Policy was initiated by George H.W. Bush in 1988. He appointed the
first Drug Czar in 1989.

Meantime, liberals pushed for marijuana legalization since the 1960s,
and the more vehement ones pushed for legalization of all narcotic
drugs.

Chris, your imaginary sense of American history is almost too bizarre
to believe. Where in the hell do you get all of your bogus
information?
