No.

As a matter of fact, Donald Trump is very busy being proud of himself
for accomplishing what no one else has been able to accomplish. But,
he says, he'll have to examine the document to make sure it's
authentic.

His grandmother claims she was present at his birth in Kenya. Is that
the liar you're talking about?

Ha-ha! Are you kidding? Trump is already crowing. That's after he told
Anderson Cooper a couple of days ago that he had information that the
original record was "lost."

Now the rest of the country has seen what those of us in the NYC area have
known for years: Trump is a phony and a con man, a self-promoter who cares
about nothing but himself. And his hair. g

I am talking about Republican liars.

You are presenting the "grandmother" story as if it was an established
fact, but it is not an established fact.

Republicans probably invented the story about "grandmother" also. I
would not personally let any of them hold on to my wallet even for a
millisecond.

No she didn't. That was the edited translation by Jerome Corsi, the
documented liar and sensationalist author.

More like Trump claiming he had "information" that Obama's original record
was "lost," or that he has "investigators" in Hawaii. No one can find any
evidence they exist, nor anyone they have talked to in Hawaii. They must be
awfully small...

"It may have been good politics and good TV, but it was bad for the American
people and distracting from the many challenges we face as a country."

It certainly distracted a lot of people from his genuine shortcomings, so
thanks a lot birthers.

What is really disgusting, is Republicans repeating these lies and
trying to nonchalantly pass them up as established facts.

I certainly would not trust my wallet to Trump. Bankruptcies seem to
follow him around like flies follow certain things.

The whole thing was political. What the entire controversy over Obama's
birth really was about was nothing more than a point of attack against
the president.

The fact is Obama has done such a good job since taking over the country
that the right wing has not had a lot of legitimate things to attack him
over. Virtually everything that was in terrible shape under Bush has
considerably improved under Obama. Jobs and the housing market are the
two areas that are proving the hardest to get turned around but even in
those areas there has been progress. That is a sharp contrast compared
to when Bush was in office when everything was on a downward trend.

As silly and irrelevant as Obama's birth place is it gave the right wing
something to go after Obama over, and they made the most of it. They
took a meaningless issue to the front pages for months on end. They
milked the supposed controversy for all it was worth and they convinced
many republicans that the president was not really an American at all.

That's now over. There will be no apologies from the right. You won't
see any right wingers in this group saying they were wrong. It takes
balls to admit mistakes. Those are lacking in Obama's opponents. So they
will quickly forget all about the birth controversy and will seize some
other minor thing to hector Obama over. But that's what you do when you
have nothing legitimate to complain about. You find some little nit to
pick. The question is what's next for the little people to whine about.
