The new chairman of the science and technology committee is Ralph Hall
of Texas. This is a perfect example of the right wing's anti science
stance. That's because Hall is the oldest member in congress, and acts
like it. He's 87 years old. As you might guess, science is not his
thing. Proving once again that republicans are still opposed to science
and reason. I bet he's a Christian too. Typical republican thinking in
choosing him. It's like putting a tobacco company executive in charge of
your health care. Good choice.
