I take it you've never been fishing. Or hunting. Or farming. Or
pretty much anything reality based.

"Torturing" animals is a sick practice. Humanely dispatching them is both a
kind thing to do, and also a means that keeps the animal from secreting or
excreting hormones or other things into the bloodstream during the dying
process that affect the taste and quality of the meat.

Another important sign that a person is suffering from a serious
psychological disorder is that they cannot realize that they are alive and
functioning (?) in this world today because their ancestors clubbed and
stabbed to death zillions of animals so that their gene pool could be
carried on to this last outstanding specimen.
