Once we get all that duct unspooled; I'll need 8 3-phase
contactors, in the 50-200A range.

If anyone here knows of a surplus dealer dealing in same; I'm
all ears.

I can't help with surplus, but if you can live with IEC style
contactors, the Fuji contactors from Automation Direct are nice
quality and inexpensive compared to AB and C-H.

for what it's worth, I just picked up a very clean Westinghouse series C
type HMCP motor circuit breaker, it has instantaneous trip settings you
can adjust from 9 to 30 amps - looks like some idiot electrician mangled
the set screw for setting these trip amps, and then just abandoned the
breaker - you have to push down on it, then turn, not just try to turn
it by brute force.

maybe this can be helpful to you, if it is, find my email on my web site
(www.wbnoble.com)and drop me a note

They do look attractive. I shall study them. Thank you.

I spent time on eBay, and found %^&^. Many 10's of items with
worthless descriptions, pictures that show zip, and pages of BS
about how that they are so professional.

If I'm buying a contactor; at the least I need to know the # and
rating of the contacts, and the coil voltage.

(I'm being to think the term "professional" when used about eBay
sellers is akin to when it's being used to describe a babe in a
bar......)

There may well be a seller out there with new stock, or organized used
stock, but I did not find same yet.

Yeah, it's noisy. It you want quick and easy, order it from grainger.com
for $30. Or sort through the noise and get 3 for $10 on eBay, then you
don't have to bother the next two times.

If I can get 200A/3ph contactors for $30 at Grainger,
I'll be at their door...

Sorry, I was referring to my experience with 30 amp 1-phase.
Maybe yours aren't so easy to find.

30 amp ones are common; but big ones far less so.
