What's that Lassie? You say that Karl Townsend fell down the old
rec.crafts.metalworking mine and will die if we don't mount a rescue

Is the part labeled 1 an isolation transformer? If so, should DC- be
grounded?


It's a three phase choke. Keeps line transients from triggering the
SCRs.
