OT kinda - but it IS metal - Harley Carbs.
I'm working on a project and want to use the big Tillotson carb (HD)
without the built-in fuel pump - but WOULD like to have an accellerator pump. Harley used the Tillotson HD back in the late sixties / early seventies on Sportsters, XLH, XLCH, FL, and early ShovelHeads. I have 3 apparently ex-Harley carbs in my posession - one is a HD2C with the big adjustment wheel on the top and the "plastic" bottom cover and fuel pump on the right side. The other 2 are HD130c-8 and HD 130b7 with METAL bottom cover/accellerator pump assemblies on the opposite side and adjustment screws all on the side. Any idea what models they are off of? Anywhere to get specific info on these carbs?? I have lots of information on the Snowmobile application HDs - without accellerator pumps and both with fuel pump and pump delete options. |
