Nothing out of line with that number as an independent contractor.

Covering employer half of medicare/social security, providing health care along with a
retirement plan makes those numbers low ball.

Sure, but none of that applies to gummer. Otherwise, how could he end
up with a 3 decade record like this one? http://tinyurl.com/d7hkkp
http://tinyurl.com/l68gh3

Plus, along with the $75 an hour whopper, he also claimed to have
driven 626 miles per day, every day, for the last 35 years. That
doesn't leave much time for earning, or much profit after vehicle
purchase and expenses.

Covering employer half of medicare/social security, providing health care along with a
retirement plan makes those numbers low ball.

Again, doesn't apply to gummer in any way, shape, or form. If he
couldn't pay $200 per year in property taxes for so long, what are the
odds that he was contributing to a healthcare or retirement plan?
Particularly since he wrote only a few days ago that he's been
sleeping in his truck lately, and a few months ago that he has to
thieve Wifi from a neighbor's provider in order to tell us anything at
all.

I think the basic theory of the economics I just covered is taught to
most paperboys when they sign up. But perhaps the news hasn't trickled
down to Usenet until now. :-)
