Low power M-80.

It was a pathetic bomb attempt. I'd bet a fair number of the regulars here could have
built a bomb that would actually work if so inclined. Just to raise the bar, I bet that
subgroup could do it without googling though it would help refine the device.

almost sounded to me like it wasn't actually really intended to blow up,
just create a to-do on the news. didn't really want to hurt anyone. maybe a
distraction from the oil well crisis. prolly a right-winger. :-)

b.w.

Or a Leftwinger or Islamic fundies rather pathetic attempt to either
make an actual bomb, or a bomb statement using everything but an actual
explosive.

The fertilizer being non explosive...either its a statement of "We could
have...."

Or damned poor preperation and no field trial.

And yes..there are people here that if sufficiently prompted..could make
McVeighs device look like a party favor.

William, remember McVeigh? His package worked. Right wingers seldom go off but don't be
in their target zone when it happens. We tend to have served and have a clue on now this
stuff works. Who was the Unibomber just to give the left some cred? I know the left can
do the deed when they want to. Weathermen?

Actually, I don't think the perp was left or right. Likely someone from the Muslim world.
Time will tell on that one.

Time will tell.

We will indeed see that individual/group again.

Unfortunately..they will probably get it right the 2nd time, if not
caught first.

The big worry is that they get a bomb maker into the country that really knows what he is
doing.

I wonder how many Muslim extremists are in our country right now?

Very well done!!! Very well done indeed. Caught the rat ******* on the
airplane, on the runway..on its way to Dubis

"The suspect, identified as Faisal Shahzad, was picked up at John F.
Kennedy International Airport just before midnight and is being held in
New York. He is a Pakistani who recently returned from a trip to that
country."

Standing Ovation!! Well done boys..well done!!

Communism is fine, the problem is the last regime didn't implement it right? Socialism is
Communism lite.

I miss the days when Liberal was good and Conservative was bad.

The final government will be a dictatorship, and it will be the best ever.
