Drill Sharpen Grind Machines Accessories Wheel or Belt
I spotted a link to a video from a link someone posted recently, and that
began a series of interesting discoveries of other drill sharpening machines and methods Kaindl a German company http://www.kaindl-info.com/machines/..._20-10521.html Viel a Canadian company, but a location in the USA http://www.vieltools.com/detail.php?p=NTUw&l=ZW4= You might notice that both of the above methods utilize a segmented chuck? holder for the drills. A similar type holder is used for the TDR SRD drill sharpening machines http://www.drill-grinder.com/storefr...p?idproduct=17 http://www.drill-grinder.com/storefr...?idCategory=21 The segmented drill holder makes it easy for the operator to flip the holder over and have the 2 drill point sharpening positions indexed 180 degrees apart (without remounting the drill in the holder). Videos of Viel and Kaindl http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Awjqo5BLED0&NR=1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2sFZ2vdyBEQ&NR=1 Someone's idea of an inexpensive alternative http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woC2P...eature=related -- WB .......... metalworking projects www.kwagmire.com/metal_proj.html |
