It's starting, people
Las Vegas, Nevada. Federal Building. A Social Security recipient, upset
about a cut in benefits came into the building with a shotgun under his coat. Before it was all over, a security guard was dead, a U.S. Marshall was wounded, and the perp was dead. Lots of people with no hope living on subsistence levels who might be dead in six months are going to be wanting to fight the beast. Especially when they get the letter telling them that their benefits have been reduced or cancelled. It's the next thing to receive a PC label. Just to insure that it doesn't have a derogatory meaning, and therefore the people involved don't feel bad about themselves. Steve RIP - The dead SO was a retired Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Sergeant, 66 years old, who had given of himself his whole career. |

You've become every bit the crackpot as gardner, gummer, and editor. And what happened to your new years resolutions? 4 days into the year and you're starting off-topic threads and advertising your inability to think. Congratulations, and I hope you enjoy stewing in your wet dreams of societal collapse, and in your frustration as the years pass with none of your fantasies coming true. It's going to be fun to watch you idiots keep announcing "it's starting" over and over again every time a crime takes place. Wayne |

He's ended the recession all by himself. My favorite part is when he asks Amazon for a 1% Amazon credit for his trouble To see what would happen, Brian Klug tried to buy a CD-ROM on Amazon of an instructional science program mispriced at $2,875,934,133.57 (plus shipping). What happened is that he bought it. It's going to be fun to watch you idiots keep announcing "it's starting" over and over again every time a crime takes place. Wayne There must be a way to make some good money off of these doomsday cranks. They're gullible, they're paranoid, they're proselytizers...there's got to be some money in it besides selling them primers and brass. d8-) Start making and selling POG's cast from wheel weights Ed. You can market them as stealth supplies for bullet molds and you'll be both rich and famous. LOL -- John R. Carroll Hmm. There's a germ of an idea there, John. Some kind of violent defense...claymores disguised as antique field telephones...something. Anyway, it's keeping the gun stores busy for now, and it's giving a little shot, if you'll excuse the pun, to the economy. A really clever soul would start a trading exchange in derivative products. "HoT lEaD- bid 5000 @ 40/ offered 40000 @ 60" Isn't that what they already did? g Once upon a time there was a sub-prime mortgage, so no. Almost though. BTW, I'm almost finished with Krugman's _The Return of Depression Economics and the Crisis of 2008_. It's a good, fairly quick read. Yeah, Krugman is really beating the drum for another round of spending right now. He's probably right. I don't see that consumers have any real gas in the tank and there isn't any reason for business to invest when capacity utilization is at 60%. -- John R. OT It's NOT JUST starting, Maybe You Just Noticed
As much as I dislike non-metalworking posts, paricularly ones that aren't
even marked OT:, there are a few details that maybe should be stated. As there are some retirees, or others close to retirement, that participate in RCM, some other info may be worthwhile. This isn't a new event. Another shot-gun-type incident took place in Pittsburgh a few years ago. The firearm was described as some sort of fabricated or improvised weapon. One or 2 agency personnel shot at point-blank range as they sat at a table with the claimant (also an older man, IIRC). The number of armed security at a regional Social Security location (federal building type of environment) are probably greater than anywhere else the public might visit, wih exception of military bases, airports and LEO agencies, or possibly courthouses. When I saw a uniformed, armed man at a local SS office a few years ago (as I passed by to go to another office in the same building), I thought he might have been a cop checking into his SS account. After another visit to the same building, he was present again. Not a cop, a full-time armed security gaurd (SS office in a small city). At the time, I recall trying to remember the last time I saw an armed gaurd at a bank, but wasn't able to, it had been so long. From the number of folks that I'm familiar with that have needed to resort to disability benefits, the claimants are seen as adversaries of the SS system (The Government). Odd, I thought, as we were taught in school that SS is an insurance program.. pay in during your working years, and withdraw at retirement, or in case of a debilitating injury or disabiliy. In recent weeks, I've read and heard on the news that the AARP claimed that it's members were in favor of retirement benefits cuts. Right. The most frequent problem reported by senior citizens, for years, has been that they can't afford their medications. But AARP says seniors/members approve benefit cuts. Let's not talk about the old folks that are found dead, frozen to the floor, that have been eating garbage to survive, as those would be labeled as hoaxes. Maybe some ederly folks just can't afford the AARP membership fees. One would definitely not want to become unable to work without the resources to live on today. Some folks may have to get to a warm climate and find a cozy space under a bridge that's not already occupied, and be prepared to defend it. -- WB .......... metalworking projects www.kwagmire.com/metal_proj.html "Steve B" wrote in message ... More recently we had editor telling us it would come last June, and only weeks ago gummer said that "it was starting" when some cops got shot. But you idiots refuse to learn from each others' mistakes, so you'll keep right on saying that every new cop killing or whatever is the new "start", even though an average of something like 150 cops are killed every year. Revel in your ignorance, it's exactly what you deserve. Wayne |

Congratulations, and I hope you enjoy stewing in your wet dreams of societal collapse, and in your frustration as the years pass with none of your fantasies coming true. It's going to be fun to watch you idiots keep announcing "it's starting" over and over again every time a crime takes place. Wayne You're right, Wayne. You, and your ilk are not worth my time. Set back and watch and enjoy. You're right. You're always right. Steve And in less than 2 yrs...its likely Whine will be killed by the People when they finally get tired of the Leftists and stage the Great Cull. Shrug Hey lookee, gummy finally budged off his 3 year thing! What are the odds that he'll forget that he reduced it to 2, and be back to 3 within hours? I hope they do it with a tool. Maybe a chainsaw. Oops, you also forgot how many times you've said that you wish the "great cull" wouldn't happen. Why do you imagine that anyone should take you seriously when you contradict yourself daily? The BS flows out of you like sewage from a septic pumper, but that has nothing to do with you being a brokedown brokeass, right? Wayne |

Of course to those of the faux news persuasion, anyone towards the center compared to hannity, beck, etc. is a flaming liberal. Indeed, that was uncle rupert's stated purpose in starting fox news. As inevitable as you see these things, I certainly hope you don't think any of what you are talking about is right or good. If you do, I suggest it would be better if the culling went the other way, as destructive as the left can be they at least don't think that greatness can be achieved by killing off those that dissent. He is nearly a Leftwinger...and while Ive put out a plea for his survival...it may go unheard. The fate of so many Leftards in the very near future.... It's not just the people you think you hate that are at risk, folks. It's ALL of us. Let the Record show that Gunner Asch on or

No. Where did you get that foolish idea? The People themselves will simply rise up and kill the enemies of the United States. Leftwingers will be decimated. The Constitution will be restored and all will be well. With luck..during the Great Cull...the soldiers will simply guard their bases and stay out of it. Lets both hope they do. Because if they dont..keep in mind that 80% of the military is conservative and when they kill their enemies...cities are destroyed. "I come in peace, I didn't bring artillery. But I am pleading with you with tears in my eyes: If you **** with me, I'll kill you all." Marine General James Mattis, to Iraqi tribal leaders OTOH, with today's precision weapons, you don't have to flatten the city. You an, and with the application of less effort than before, but you don't have to. Look at the photos of Europe's cities, 1945. Compare them to the cities after the Mongols came through in the 13th century. The main difference is that the Horde was more labor intensive, and were able to provide "personal service" to the living before they became the dead. - pyotr filipivich We will drink no whiskey before its nine. Shrug..give em a couple minutes to shout their hate out to the crew, then snuff em. Or not. Shrug. Probably most of the crews will be bored by killing ****ting their pants, ****ing in their loafers and sniveling on their shirts leftwingers..so they will likely simply snuff em in whatever fashion is the fastest..and then move on to the next name on the list. But Ive put in some Special Requests...and with luck..they will take their lunch breaks while the Specials dance on tippy toes as the barbed wire nooses slowly tighten..... And Ive been promised videos!! Cool dude! Gunner So many graves, so little urine.
