A Letter to the President....

Jeff Mc - The engines - you, me and everyone willing to go to work. Me
being retired, it's your turn. You say our corporate tax is the
lowest, I've heard it's the highest. Whatever, the govm't taxes
anything that moves, and spends much of the harvest on unjusified,
vote getting schemes. Say flat tax. Fair, and gets almost every one
involved. Taxing paper entities doesn't save the individual from
excessive taxation, just helps maintain the fiction that government is
being gentler on you. Penalties - excessive and unjustified
regulation.

I've heard "tax the corporations" being a good idea. My question is where
does that money come from? I run a small business. Tax me more and I have
to raise my prices. The only way I have for generating money is thru my
customers because I don't print money. Unless someone knows how a
corporation can pay more taxes without the consumer ultimately picking up
the bill, I would like to hear it.
To my way of thinking, increasing corporate taxes is just a thinly hidden
increase in taxes to the consumer.
