Steve, how about rusting them a little with muriatic acid/moisture treatment, and then heating them to orange red hot in the air, they should asquire a black oxide patina. Maybe that will work? The stuff that I heated to that temperature looks kind of rustic after that. use zinc plated ones for this. |
