Default O.J. is going to prison

scrawled the following:

So-called Rodney King "beating" - A lowlife with a long criminal

do so by police, instead fleeing at high speed endangering the public.
He refuses to cooperate and is subdued by police who use batons
applied primarily to fleshy areas of his body as per procedure. Note
that when he quits resisting, they quit using batons.

That is untrue. If you watch the video, you'll see that early on (after
they have hit him just a few times), he stops resisting and trying to
crawl away. At that point they could easily have put the cuffs on him,
but instead they keep beating and kicking him. That's misconduct.

Both of you are right. King should not have run in the first place,
getting all that adrenaline into the racist cops' systems. That
doesn't excuse them, but if he hadn't resisted after they pulled him
over, they wouldn't have beaten him. Both he and the cops were way
out of line that day. Way the hell out of line.

Bull****, it had nothing to do with adrenaline. If their attack had
been rage-fueled, he would have left on a stretcher or a body bag, not
walked under his own power.

It was entirely about his demonstrated behavior - i.e. he was not
going to cooperate, was obviously high. I don't blame a cop for not
wanting to wrestle with some drug addict and get stuck with a needle
or have them pull out a hidden knife. We've certainly seen what an
upstanding citizen he is since then.

**** 'em. If they want to behave like out of control animals they
should be treated accordingly. It's all the liberal welfare state
bull**** that created wastes of meat like King in the first place.

Got a funny e mail from a friend.

OJ behind bars. Caption says, "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas."

He'll probably be going to Indian Springs, Ely, or Carson City, though.

To end on a light-hearted note, this reminds me of one of my favourite
O.J. trial jokes:

"Why did O.J. sit in the Bronco for so long?"

"Because Rodney King called him and told him not to get out of the car."
