Refresh my poor memory, what sizes of brass was it you were looking
for? The Lions Club, of which I am now officially a member, sells the
brass they clean up for scrap. I suspect that you could buy all you
want for the same price. BTW, they are working on an action pistol
match, much the same as what I had only maybe bigger, for the third
Sunday of each month. I'll keep you posted.

..357, 41 mag, 45 acp, some (maybe a thousand) 9mm

I could use a few thousand of each caliber, mixed headstamps ok.

I could even use 500 or so .380s

Id buy a couple 5 gallon bucket fulls of unsorted mixed brass, but
the price would depend on how many aluminum cases are in there

IRRC...a 5gal bucket of average mixed pistol brass averages out to be
about 55 lbs

More if its mixed 9mm and 45

O.K., I'll ask one of the range guys tomorrow when I go out for the
NRA Instructor Course and see if they know what price they've been
getting.

Hmm ... the .45 ACP and the 9mm I would expect in some quantity.
But the .357 Magnum and the .41 Magnum? I would expect range cleanings
to be mostly from semi-auto weapons, not wheel guns. (Or am I unusual
in keeping a bag to dump my ejects into for reloading?)

I do see that the Desert Eagle was made in .41 magnum for a
while at least. I would like to have one of those. Is there anything
else in .41 Magnum which is semi-auto?

Good Luck,
DoN.
