Camco Unipak indexer. A number of them are on Ebay right now. Get the
indexer control and the matching rotary table. they will index in 4
90' positions if required. Sticking a pneumatic collet closer on the
rotary table will make things go faster when loading/unloading.
For neatness sake, run everything off a cheap PLC with some Hall
Effect Switches, or even microswitchs.

If you buy a used unit, just make sure you get an indexer with the
number of stops you require. The one above makes 12 stops, in other
words, it increments 30 degrees at a time. The RDMs are a good choice
if your fixtures are going on a dial plate.

There are also several mfrs of pneumatic indexing tables, but Festo is
the only name I can recall right now. Thomas Register should turn up a
few others. Not as smooth and sexy as a cam indexer, but cheaper, and
usually adequate for low speed manual operations with low inertia
loads.
