Teachable Coolant Nozzle...SpiderCool!

As a service tech out in the field I came across this machine option
at the East-tec trade show. It's a teachable coolant nozzle system
that memorizes the precise location you want coolant aimed for 99
tools. It also has the ability to set two points on the same tool to
provide a sweeping action...resulting in superior chip-evacuation.
Increased "up-time", increase tool-life, faster feedrates, better
"lights-out" performance, and ease of operation. Can be added to any
fully-enclosed VMC or CNC Lathe. Increase productivity on old machine
instead of buying a new one! At $1,995 it's a "no-brainer" It pays for
itself with a few months.Too much to tell...for more info visit

Yes, and how did you "come across" it? By being at work in the booth where
they were being sold?

Ya know what? I don't mind someone coming in here and touting his or her
own product...OCCASIONALLY ANYWAY!!!...but don't think we're fools and won't
figure it out. Go ahead and tell us that you work there...if nothing else,
your return address just HAPPENS to be the same as the place you "found" at
East-Tec would be a tip-off.

sheesh

You came across it, and your email matches the URL of the seller? What
a coincidence.

You must think we're as stupid as you just showed us you are.

Unless I'm mistaken, my employers ancient Haas VF1 has a programable coolant
nozzle. Nothing new.

The only difference being that SpiderCool is not tied into the control/
programming, and has a patented two-position sweeping feature that
provides superior chip-evac. Another small advantage is that you don't
have to buy an entire HAAS machine to get one. It can be added to any
existing(fully-enclosed) Vert/Horiz Mill. The money earned/saved
through increased spindle "Up-Time" and prolonged tool-life pays for
itself within a few months, not to mention the happiness it brings a
good machinist(who you might want to keep around). I have to wonder
why a company would go out and buy a new machine for better shop
productivity before they attempted to get every machining center they
already owned as efficient as it could be with a SpiderCool...$2k per
machine...shops burn up more in tooling due to poor coolant delivery
situations. I became a rep because I belive in the benefits of this
product and think it will slowly become popular...like the wheel
eventually did. LOL! I realize this option is considered a luxury for
now...but some leading edge companies have already took the plunge!

Major Corporations Using SpiderCool:
Accellent Orthopaedics
Barden Corporation
California Edison
Curtiss Wright
General Electric Aircraft
Gillette
Honda Transmissions
IBM Corporation
Lockheed Martin
National Institute of Health
Parker Hannifin Corporation
Pratt & Whitney Aircraft
Schick-Wilkinson Sword
Sikorsky Aircraft
Toro Corporation
Tyco Electronics
Westinghouse Corporation
