Default manufacturing in Germany.

Tracks were wider than the German railway system was set up for. Even
worse was the wide tracks for snow. Wonder what it was like busting
track to get the tank over the bridge, then put em back on...

As the Guinness commercial says, "Brilliant"

Tigers, for instance, were great tanks but went through tracks and road
wheels. The were very heavy and that also made their usefulness on anything
but firm and open ground very limited. That and shortages of spare tracks
and some of the electronics parts were the actual reasons they frequently
fought from fixed/prepared positions.
