Dear Friends,

Last night I had the strangest dream. It was so real, so life-like and
so vivid I woke up in a cold sweat. Let me describe it to you briefly...

1. Hillary wins the Democratic Party nomination for President of the
United States

2. Naturally, she wants to choose as her running mate someone with a lot
of knowledge and experience in government and foreign affairs, someone
who is a seasoned campaigner who could bring a lot of strength to the
ticket. Who better than Bill, her husband?!!!

3. Hill and Bill go on to win the election in November and the Democrats
maintain control of the House and the Senate.

4. Hillary is sworn in as President on January 20, 2009. The next day,
after all the inauguration parties are over, she calls a press
conference to make an announcement: she is resigning as President!!!
Bill, as the Vice President, immediately becomes President!!! This is
all perfectly legal under the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution, for it
states that 'no person may be elected as president more than twice'.
Bill is not being elected for a third term but is merely serving out the
remainder of Hillary's term---all 4 years of it.

5. But wait! There's more! The following day Bill calls a press
conference to make an announcement. He has chosen someone to fill the
now-vacant office of Vice President. Guess who he picks? Why, Hillary,
of course!!! And she would still be able to run for president again!!!
Please forward this e-mail to all of your Republican friends and to as
many others as you wish to cause sleepless nights...

If they win, would it be appropriate to offer a tribute of ugly women on a
regular basis? And, who would get the ugly women? Will McCain run in 2016?
Will the country be able to produce enough cheese?

What really concerns me is the tariff on peanuts in Brazil.

I gather you skipped your grade-school civics class? Bill
Clinton is barred from running for president OR VICE president
for the rest of his life. Since the VP is "one heartbeat away"
from the presidency, he is ineligeble for either office. I
think it also makes him ineligeble to be president of the
Senate, as well.

I don't think that is true.

The constitution says:

The 22nd Amendment

Section 1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President more
than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as
President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was
elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than
once. But this Article shall not apply to any person holding the office of
President when this Article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not
prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as
President, during the term within which this Article becomes operative from
holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder
of such term.

Section. 2. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been
ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of
three-fourths of the several States within seven years from the date of its
submission to the States by the Congress.

The prohibition is against being elected not being appointed in the event of
succession.

IIRC there was some talk of Bush Sr. naming Ronald Reagan as VP in 88 and it
has been proposed other times as well.

I don't think you need to worry, Hillary wants the power for herself.

BINGO, the question is; If she wins would she even let Bill sleep in
the Whitehouse?

Thank You,

She ought to sleep with one eye open, if she does. LOL
Billyboy would snuff her in a second if he had a chance to get back
behind the wheel in the oval office.

Did you see what Ann Coulter said? She says she'll vote for Hillary before
she'd vote for John McCain. So her vote cancels your vote. d8-)

I tend to agree with Ann if only because the NRA and other
'conservatives' will fight any democrat into gridlock, but will
compromise all our rights away to a republican. ;(

The simplest answer is usually best. And the simplest answer is that Ann
Coulter has lost her marbles.
