Trying to find extra long shaft 1mm&1.5mm drill bits
 

Hi,

I am trying to find some tiny gauge (1mm and 1.5mm) bits but with
extra long shafts.
Anyone got any ideas?

It would help if you actually indicated what length of drill you are
trying to get, 50mm, 200mm, 1m, 20m.

It would help if you actually indicated what length of drill you are
trying to get, 50mm, 200mm, 1m, 20m.

Yes sorry.
I am looking for 80mm or over! Obviously the flutes can be standard
but I need a longer shaft..

If you're in the UK you could try J&L www.jlindustrial.co.uk . They list
1.5mm x 115mm and 1.5mm x 125mm in their printed catalogue. No 1mm
listed that long so you might have to ask them.

How about drilling a hole in a piece of small rod and inserting a standard
length in same with Loctite, etc? Jim
