that is important is the magnetic field in the transformer, which
depends on input current MINUS scaled output current.


Line current diminishes with increasing load current? You might
wanna re-think that.

MMF due to secondary current does oppose MMF produced by the primary,
so primary current must increase accordingly to maintain flux density
and EMF.
