I know I'm taking a contrarian view here, but I've come to realize that the
more guns one owns, the more useless one comes to realize they are. (outside
of hunting or self defense)


To you, perhaps they're useless for anything but that. For me, they're
useful as works of art, as examples of how technology is changed by
history, to be admired as engineering marvels, as investments, and all
sorts of other things that people who don't _get it_ won't acknowledge
as being valid.
