I know Roy was giving up the website, but I thought someone was going
to take it over and host it on their server? Anyone have any idea?

Thanks, Steve

Hey
I reinstalled the website and made a few changes to eliminate my email
address and setup a forum to answer questions.........and actually
renewed my host service and domain name ...........then the **** hit
the fan.........I had always considered my host service to be a good
outfit, but they hung me out to dry without the first email to me and
asking me about what wsa supposedly on my webiste. And its obvious
they never looked at it either or they cold have easily seen what was
stated was wrong.

I got into a ****ing contest with a real bitch in rec.ponds forum, and
she has a loyal following of sock puppets and other typical USENET
trash. Odds are you all probbaly seen some of the message s come her e
in this forum saying I am a hom etc etc........and probbaly seen a few
posts from a Koi-lo etc etc.Well anyway this bitch and her sock puppet
army sent emails to my host service copmpany telling them I supported
and had porn and other crap on my website.......which was a violation
of TOS.......and they up and dumped my account, and locked my email
access.....I fought with them and they went back and looked at an
archive of the site and seen what was stated was false.......and told
me that after a 60 day cooling off period they would allow me to
re-establish my webiste etc..Needless to say I told them to stick it
where the sun does not shine....................sociopaths are a real
problem to deal with especially that sociopath in the fish related
forums.........but her days are numbered. Last cound she has used over
1,000 user names in a bit over a years time to avoid kill filters. She
jumps from free usenet news server to server to keep from getting
canned so quick, but her main account is with bell south which she
only uses to access the free servers......Hopefully my website will
return once again in the not to distant future.......first I got toget
rid of the bitch and her sock puppets. I am not the only one with
problems from her, as she has the rec.ponds forum trashed to hell as
well as a few other forums...........

If your interested in a real nut case look up the name Koi-Lo or her
real name Carol Adamo Gulley.......and read all about one sick
individual..........

I have seen USENET turds like that, also. I personally simply ignore
them, but surely,. some try very hard to be difficult to ignore!

As for website, having a nice backup is of extraordinary importance!

I look forward to your website's return...it was a good one.

Meanwhile, don't let the *******s (or in this case The Bitch) get you

When you decide to get your site going again I suggest you take a look at
pair.com for hosting. I've been with them for several years now without a
single problem and their prices are great too! You can have a site for as
little as $5.95/month (even less if you prepay) and you can tack as many
domains onto different directories of your site for only $1/month each.

http://www.pair.com/services/web_hosting/

The usualy disclaimer of course: I'm not in any way affiliated with them -
just a happy customer.

Also, if you want to know a simple way to have an email link available on
your site without bots and such being able to find your address email me.

Best Regards,
Keith Marshall

I already made mention of who it was.Carol Adamo Gulley, who is a so
called jehovahs witness or at least she claimed to be, but never was,
but sure thinks she was, whose father died because he was a JW, and
would not allow for blood transfusions or soomething like that, so now
she starts wars with the JW usenet group, and other so claled health
forums, ****ing off folks big time, and email bombing their accounts
etc......then they follow her to the rec.ponds forum and other aquatic
fish forums, and nrxt thing there is all this cross post bull****
going on that she drug into the forums, and she then continually
changes her user ID's or utilizes remailers in her quest to keep
stirring the pot and yet maintain her so called little miss innocent
image....but she has done it far to long and often and made quite a
few screwups and now folks really know who she is. She accused one
individual of raping his daughter and then throwing her out on the
streets, and it really brought that fellow a lot of grief........she
is 1000 tmes worse than the inherent pest that used to come in thie
forum could ever thing of being.......IIRC his/her/its name was
Altovoz...........anyone remember Altovoz.......He wsa not really al
that bad unless he wanted to screw with you but it generally ****ed
everyone off.

Who was it. Seems only fair to share the information.

Ah. Just what I've been looking for. Thank you.

Best kind of referral.

I've always just converted the text to a graphic and given it a
non-obvious name. It's not clickable but it's not bot-able either, I
don't think...unless they're going to OCR the whole site to look for an
@ or something?

Anyway, I just sent a query off to pair.com - it looks like they've got
some good options for me. I've got a bunch of domains in a bunch of
places and I'm not thrilled with any of 'em. If I can consolidate into
one at least consistant place, even if it's a bit annoying at least I'll
know what to expect.

Roy:

To add my two cents. NEMES has been using these folks for about a
year and a half http://dreamhost.com/ and the service has been rock
solid.

If the time should come that you decide not to renew the site please
consider getting in touch and maybe it could be moved to the NEMES
website.

Hurdy Gurdy Man. be my guest.
You can do what you want with the website if your willing to host it
go for it, be my guest. I am the owner of what used to be
frugsalmachinist.com.........My name is Roy and my last name I will
not divulge due to a big time war in another usenet forum involving a
few whacko's, but trust me, I am theoriginator of
frusgalmachinist.com, and you have my blessings. I think there is
enough folks here that can vouch who i am (not personally though, at
least not that I am aware of) and that I did indeed create
frugalmachinist.....If there is anything missing, let me know. I do
not suppose your at all interested in the odds and ends I had like the
ponds etc, so feel free to modify or do what you think you need to do
to get what folks want. My email that you can get me at if necessary
is chipmkr at hotmail dot com . I suppose your smart enough to
figure out my email fron what i have listed there......Best of luick
to you if you decide to put the stuff on your server. This is the
first thing ever I have ever quit, and it sort of irks me to no end,
but thats life I suppose.
Regards

Roy

I have an archived copy of the entire site as of January 9th, 2006 I could
put online if there's some urgent need for someone to see it. I had archived
it for personal, offline use. I suppose if the creator of the content is
willing to let me host it through one of my servers I could have it back
online instantaneously.

I don't think I'd ever have anything to contribute to the content, so I'd
really only put it up if someone out there wants to take a look at it.
Unless you feel like maintaining it once it's up, that is. I certainly
wouldn't mind hosting it if you wanted to update it with things you've been
working on. It didn't look like it was something that would generate huge
amounts of traffic, so I can't imagine it slowing down either of the network
links I've got for hosting.

I do not suppose your at all interested in the odds and ends I had like
the ponds etc, so feel free to modify or do what you think you need to do

Actually the pond stuff does interest me, since I have a bit of land on which
I might like to build just such a thing someday. It's one of the reasons
why I archived it in the first place. But again, I would either just post it
up verbatim if others want to look at it, or give you access if you'd like to
update it and maintain it again.

This is the first thing ever I have ever quit, and it sort of irks me to
no end, but thats life I suppose.

Well, nobody ever said you had to stay quit, right? So if you'd like to
maintain it, just let me know and I'll generate an account you can use to
access it for updates.
