While that is a true statement some of the time, it is ignorant to beleive
that it is true all of the time about everyone who practices religion. I
presume you didn't mean it that way, but I find many people actually do

They usually don't even "believe".
To do so would require a "thing" to believe in, some sort of
quasi-logical constructs to discuss (this stuff's ALL passed about & ingrained
via language) but such as "gods" cannot even be defined.

Just ask a fundie about the colour of some "god"'s shoes ... but
they would kill each other (and everyone else) over quibbles about the
proper way to lace them.

Who are these "fundies"? I can't believe that anybody would be so
stupid.
