And based on their best estimates..it would appear that most of those 30,000 deaths are the result of Jihadists and outright criminals killing Iraqis. If we had not invaded, none of the 30,000+ deaths would have occurred. No, the 30,000 that Saddam would have butchered might have been a different 30,000, killed in much more interesting ways. But your opinion doesn't count for squat, here or there. What counts is what the decent people of Iraq think. They will tell you that despite the pain, they are better off for the US having interceded. |
