OT Bush's Oil Pledge against Iran

Yea it kinda sucks when all of that sugar (not much any more) comes from
the Cuban government taking over U.S. companies, mills, docks, trains, that provided
a living and a higher level of life than since the thug took over.

The Sugar companies were never paid for the property loss.
This is one of the reasons why Cuba is boycotted. (not very well since the Santa Cruz
city council took a trip (or trips) there through Mexico.)
Legally, their passports could have been picked up, but they weren't.

True indeed. However..it will be a Cuba without Castro. And without
Papa to keep them on the straight and narrow Politburo line...the
changeover to capitalism will be swift and abrupt.

You now buy your candy from Canada because THEY can buy
Cuban sugar.
Lost a lot of US jobs.
