Privatization of the Internet
 

I was sending email on a company developed net ( 1982 or 83)- that later - not many years ago
that Fed net and Mill net both joined since it was larger and better controlled in the
world. The company provided connections to many an embassy and foreign bank. Finally
the Bank net joined to have access in Africa. It started as a IT department talking to
another - and just paying the money from existing budget. Company didn't budget at first.

They hosted the Winter Olympics several years ago now.

The whole "Gore invented the Internet" thing displays the true colors of
the Bu****es.
