IIRC A survey (PINGING BB !!) showed that more than 50% of the voters would support exactly such. -- Cliff How about this one? On Tim Russert's show tonight he had on the newsman Pete Williams. During the broadcast Williams told of a poll that showed the 80% of Republicans were still supporting Bush. Other polls show Bush's approval rating at 39%. What does that say when overall, and by a wide majority, most Americans think Bush is doing a bad job as president but Republicans, by an 80% margin think he's doing a good job? Is everybody stupid except Republicans or is it only Republicans that are stupid? I think it's clear it's the Republicans who are stupid. ****, they still think we're winning the war in Iraq, which confirms it. Hawke |
