Default Question about .381 or 9.7 mm Reamer

I have been cleaning out a box of reamers, I must have 50 reamers that are
..381 to the best of my measuring, all look new with protective coating. It's
possible that some company had a use for these that wasn't to common but
they all look new, is there some standard use for this size?

Default Question about .381 or 9.7 mm Reamer

This sounds like an oversized reamer for 3/8. Usually, however,
oversize reamers are only 2-3 thou over, in this case this would be
..378 or so. It is possible it could also be a 10 mm undersized reamer.
Is the shaft size metric or standard? This might indicate whether it
is the standard or metric reamer.
