Tom Joyce, Artist/Blacksmith, Santa Fe, New Mexico recently won a
MacArthur Fellowship ("Q. What do the recipients receive?
A. The stipend for the MacArthur Fellowship is currently set at
$500,000, paid in quarterly installments over five years. There are
no restrictions on how the money can be spent, and we impose
no reporting obligations.")
