![]() I hope you have saved LOTS of money..... they are considered collectors items. Mark "KD" wrote in message m... I have been saving money, and would like to purchase a nice mill that I can fit in my limited space. Deckel seems to be the choice. Are there any similar mills, and does anybody have one for sale or know where I can locate one. Thanks for your time. |

You might consider buying a new A-1 type mill for about $2000 and then
putting a DRO on it. This allows you to use standard machine accessories which are much less costly that Deckel accessories. The DRO is a lot cheaper than paying for the precision screws of a Deckel or Aciera which may or may not be well maintained. If you want collets for it, go with the ER-32 so that you can do everything at the spindle. -- Regards, Dewey Clark http://www.historictimekeepers.com Ebay Sales: http://cgi6.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAP...ems&userid=dsc Restorations, Parts for Hamilton M21s, Products for Craftsmen Makers of Historic Timekeepers Ultrasonic Clock Cleaning Solution "KD" wrote in message m... Aciera F3 also is a fabulous
small mill if you can find one. I have one you might consider, which is in great condition, in fact almost new. The good ones are expensive though. wak |
