Saw a Gorton 8D mill forsale today
 

Talked to a person selling a GOrton 8D mill today, nice size machine for a
hobby type. He had collets to go with it, I think he is in the $650 range.

Are you asking for an opinion on the 8D?

No, I have a mill but if I had the room I might go for it. From what I have
heard they are good machines but the taper is its own.

They are nice machines. I have one and quite like it. $650 with collets
could be a good price, especially if it has the power feed(s).
