Would a compound rest from and atlas 10 inch lathe fit on an atlas 6
inch lathe, mine is the old style rest and would like to update to the
newer style.

The 6 inch is much smaller than the 10. I believe the 10 and 12 are
interchangable.

Al Babin? Trying to be helpful? Probably has one for sale.

Anyway, the 10/12 inch compound won't work on the 6. The circular
dovetail that it mounts on/pivots around is smaller on the 6.
