HD's copper pipe fittings with solder already in them??!!

Anyone tried these?
Do they work as sell as conventional fittings?
Anything special about using them?
Do you still apply solder normally?

It seems to me that if they already have solder in them, that the tolerances
must be sloppier, but maybe not.

Haven't tried them, but it's a common industrial practice to pre-place
brazing filler in brazed fittings. Tolerances aren't sloppier, the
bulk of the filler is in a ring just outside the joint area and wicks
into the joint when it melts.
