The fact still remains that the democrats have benefitted from the
filibuster as much as the republicans and the next time they lose the
senate they will want it back. If history is prologue, that may be
next year.
I do think they should make them stand there and talk, not just
threaten to.

Really? Want more hot air? More BS? We know they are all lying from the get go.
It's true that if they change it will come back to haunt them. Both parties
should have learned their lesson but they are unteachable.

It would stop a lot of these things early if these old farts had to
stand there talking. Nobody is listening anyway. It is just the
exercise that would limit it.
