The message was not that you can still spread the vaccine, it was that you
*might* still be able to transmit it, they were unsure, they didn't have data one
way or the other. And at that time Pfizer and other experts said that from their
experience with other vaccines and what they know, they did not believe it likely,
but until we know more, people should not assume that it's not possible.
And even without that, the vaccines currently used here are 94% effective,
which means that a small percentage that are vaccinated do get Covid and
those people almost certainly will be able to transmit it.

And it wasn't Fauci or CDC that first came out with this message it was
Pfizer, as I recall. Pfizer did not conduct any testing to determine the
above issue. There were people, including some here, that immediately tried
to use that to say that the vaccines were no good.

about those in Mexico and Central America having the same of higher vaccine
