Some folks actually have ethics ;

some folks pretend to have ethics ;

.... then there are the Puppets & PuppetMasters
who are currently in-charge of the White House -
... who consistently thumb-their-nose at ethics.

I assume you're referring to Ivanka holding up that can of Goya beans
and saying they are good. She would say it was not the WH doing it,
just her personally, which AFAIK, there is no prohibition against.
It certainly was stupid. All she did was give the Goya story more
legs and it's doing more harm to Goya. But then she didn't do it because
she gives a rat's ass about Goya, she did it because she tone deaf and
thinks it will help pop get reelected.

The CEO of Goya, what a dope. First, unlike with any other president, when
invited to appear with Trump a competent CEO of a company like that would
have declined. With Trump and his crazy rants and outrageous comments,
you don't know what he's going to say while you're standing there with him.
Like who would want to be there when he said that there were very fine
people marching with the white supremacists in Charlottesville?
Or when he decides to defend the Confederate flag, which he's done recently?
But this dope not only went, he couldn't just participate and offer support
for Trump's sham du jour which was something to do with education for Latinos.
No, he had to say that America was "blessed" to have Trump. Yes, Trump the
president who smeared illegals as a bunch of rapists, who said Mexico
isn't sending their best, they aren't people like you and you, while pointing
to his white audience. Trump who is still trying to deport DACA people.
And then the dopey CEO is surprised that people are boycotting Goya products?
Ivanka's little stunt isn't going to recover sales among that bunch. And
the uneducated white males who are Trump's strongest supporters aren't likely
to run out and buy some either. But then like I said, that wasn't her
objective anyway.

Well, that's an example that's clearly wrong, another new low for
Trump descending to another low, another desecration of the office.
A similar example was Trump's Monday "press conference" in the Rose Garden.
It wasn't really a press conference just Trump ranting on and on in a
campaign speech, like he does at his rallies, excoriating Biden by name
over and over. There is a law against using govt offices, facilities,
property for political purposes. For example, you're not supposed to be
making calls for political donations using a govt office, a govt phone, etc.
Trump just turned the WH Rose Garden into just another Trump shameless rally.
Even Karl Rove who has been very supportive of Trump, a big defender,
weighed in saying that was very wrong. But the race to the bottom shall
continue for another 6 months.

If it's harming Goya , why are all the shelves empty of their
products ? I was going to buy some black beans the other day , but there
was NOT ONE SINGLE Goya product left on the shelves !

Maybe he should have also declined to visit the WH while O'bammy was
president .

The Latino community appears to be happy with his decisions about
helping them ...

Read/watch something besides the slanted coverage of the MSM ,
traitor , Trump has softened his stance on DACA . And there is a
significant percentage of the ILLEGAL ALIENS that are in fact criminals
.. The mere fact that they crossed the border ILLEGALLY makes them
criminals ...

And then the dopey CEO is surprised that people are boycotting Goya products?

What "boycott" ? Looks a lot more like a "buycott" to me .

I resent your implication that because I support Trump I'm uneducated
.. I may only have one degree , but I have also learned a lot on my
journey through life . Oh , and if Goya's sales are so bad , why are
stores sold out of their products all over the country ?
Traitor4 , your TDS is showing ... fortunately , most of the country
is aware of what the Dems are trying to do , and we ain't havin' it .
Sit back and watch as we "uneducated whites" push back on all the riots
and violemcet the Dems are supporting . Just my opinion , but I believe
that bloodshed is not that far in the future if they don't back off .

I forgot to look when I was in the store yesterday. I was picking up
some jalapenos for a vat of chili but I'd started with dry beans.
